Each fall, the Old State House Museum Associates host an Annual Supper, the most highly anticipated event of the year. This event, held in the historic 1885 House of Representatives Chamber on the second floor of the Old State House, features speakers of historical, political or regional importance. Past Suppers have been addressed by Winston Spencer Churchill; General (Retired) Wesley Clark, former commander of NATO forces; Governors Sidney McMath, Dale Bumpers, David Pryor, Frank White and Mike Beebe; William Ferris, Director of the Endowment for Humanities, and Dr. Jonathan Drummond-Webb, famed heart surgeon at Arkansas Children’s Hospital; Ed Wilson, President of Fox Television, and a number of famous authors.
The 2022 Annual Supper will be held on Thursday, October 13, at the Old State House. The event will begin with at 6:00 p.m. cocktail reception on the beautiful Front Lawn of the Old State House. From there, supper guests will proceed upstairs to the historic 1885 House of Representatives Chamber for a seated supper and the program. Tickets for this event are $125 per person. Throughout the year, OSHMA members become part of Arkansas’s “A-list”, with invitations to private receptions in advance of all exhibit openings. These special preview gatherings include refreshments in the Riverfront Room, members-only tours and exhibit discussions with the museum director and staff curator.
In the summer, help us celebrate Arkansas’s birthday.
